Kinloch's balsamic is made under strict standards using mostly cooked grape must and aged in barrels. Like wine, good balsamic vinegar depends upon the area where the grapes are grown. Balsamic earning the IGP seal is specific to one region in the world where the grapes are just right - the Modena area of Italy.
Our balsamic vinegar is a gourmet food product, produced in the Modena area and aged in oak barrels. It has earned the IGP seal and comes directly from Italy. We partnered with an Italian producer because gourmet balsamic goes amazingly well with our pecan oil.
