About Kinloch Pecan Oil

 

Kinloch Pecan Oil is expeller pressed - meaning a chemical free, completely mechanical process. Most oils, with the exception of olive oil, are extracted with the use of chemical solvents that are later evaporated from the oil in the refining process. For many health food advocates, there is always the lingering question of possible chemical residue leftover from the extraction process. Our Pecan Oil is 100% Pecan Oil. There are no additives, preservatives or stabilizers added at any point in the refining process. Kinloch Pecan Oil has been deodorized to provide for a neutral flavor and has been winterized so that it can be stored in the refrigerator without clouding or thickening.

All vegetable oils go rancid over time when exposed to heat, light, and oxygen. For a very long shelf life and to maintain freshness, store your Kinloch Pecan Oil in the refrigerator to avoid heat and light; insert the pour spout and use it everyday for healthy gourmet cooking.

 

 

About Kinloch Pecan Oil

Kinloch Pecan Oil was founded by Tommy Hatfield, owner and president. The logo is a picture of his wife's family home, Kinloch Plantation. Tommy started the company with his flagship product, pecan oil, as a way to showcase the produce of Louisiana. A trip to Italy led Tommy to add the IGP balsamic vinegar (a great compliment to pecan oil) to his product line up. 

Tommy lives and ships Kinloch Pecan Oil from his home town of Winnsboro, Louisiana, with his wife Eleanor and their West Highland White Terrier “Percy”.
