Deliciously Baked Lemon Garlic Salmon


What You will Need


For Salmon:

  • 2 lb salmon fillet
  • Kosher salt
  • Kinloch Pecan Oil
  • ½ lemon, sliced into rounds
  • Parsley for garnish

For Lemon-Garlic Sauce:

  • Zest of 1 large lemon
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • 3 tbsp Kinloch Pecan Oil
  • 5 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2 tsp dry oregano
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper



  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Make lemon-garlic sauce: In a bowl, whisk together lemon juice, lemon zest, olive oil, garlic, oregano, paprika, and black pepper.
  3. Line a sheet pan with foil, brush with pecan oil.
  4. Pat salmon dry, season with kosher salt, and place on the foiled sheet pan.
  5. Top salmon with lemon-garlic sauce, spreading it evenly.
  6. Fold foil over the salmon (seam-side up) and bake for 15-20 minutes until almost cooked through.
  7. Carefully open foil, place under broiler for about 3 minutes, watching closely to avoid overcooking or burning the garlic.
